Michael Manning
President


Michael Manning has been marketing alternative investments to institutional investors on a global basis for thirty years. Based in New York, he travels throughout Europe, Asia and the US. Prior to founding Stratton Capital Management (Jan '99) and Stratton Advisors, a sister company (Jan '97) Mr. Manning was a marketing executive with FX Concepts, a leading currency investment manager (’85-’97). Before this, he was head of the FX Advisory Service at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Co. (now J.P. Morgan & Co.) where he marketed structured foreign exchange products. From '76 to '83 he held managerial positions in international finance/ treasury with the Continental Group, GAF Corporation, and Bank of America.

Mr. Manning holds an MBA degree in International Finance ('75) and an MA degree in International Relations ('75) from the University of Chicago. In 1985, he was a guest lecturer in finance at the University of Guangzhou, China. He has authored articles on alternative investments and regularly organizes investor forums in Europe, Asia, and the US. In 1998, he co-hosted and sponsored the first major educational conference on alternative investing in Tokyo. In addition, he pioneered the launch of educational groups for AIMA in Hong Kong and Japan.

He is a registered principal of Stratton Capital Management.
